EYE SURGERY
Dr. Gounder, Dr. Raja and Dr. Tan bring their expertise to offer highly specialised surgery with excellent outcomes for their patients. Cataract surgery with Intra-Ocular Lens (IOL) implantation:
Monofocal Aspheric – Implants for good distance or near vision
Mini-Monovision – Some patients can have one eye set for distance and one eye set for intermediate near vision, which allows them to perform most tasks without the need for eye glasses.
Multifocal IOL – These are newer generation IOL’s that help achieve reasonable good distance and near vision, although with a slight compromise and perform like multifocal glasses. Patients achieve a fair degree of spectacle independence.
